Forever's bigger bank, a reagent bag slot, and free bags in starting zones
- The default bank is much larger, about 96 slots
- A fifth bag slot just for reagents
- Quests around level 3-4 reward 6-slot bags
- Mounts live in a window, not in your bags
Inventory space is getting a lot less painful in WoW Forever. Josh Greenfield told MMORPG.com that "the default bank is much larger. I think it's 96 slots or something like that," which he put at two to four times the original. Warcraft Tavern reported the interview on Sept 16.
There is also a fifth bag slot for a reagent bag, which holds spell reagents and crafting materials apart from the rest of your inventory. Bags themselves keep their original sizes until you reach higher levels.
Starting zones help too. Beta players found new quests around levels 3 and 4 that reward a 6-slot bag, such as Grund and Gozwin in Dun Morogh, and Carry Your Weight is another. The bag goes straight into an empty slot. Wowhead expects every starting zone to have one.
Two other changes free up space without touching your bags: mounts go in a mounts window instead of taking up a slot, and transmog lets you keep an appearance without keeping the item.
