WoW Forever name reservation runs Oct 27–Nov 3; the beta stops at level 30

Two dates to plan around before WoW Forever launches. Blizzard's pre-purchase post, published Sept 12, 2026, sets Early Name Reservation for Oct 27 through Nov 3, 2026 (PST). Separately, the roadmap slide shown at BlizzCon caps the beta at level 30, as Output Lag, Blizzard Watch and Icy Veins all report.

Name reservation comes with every upgrade: the Skyborne Heroic Pack, the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection. During the window you can create and customize up to three characters, and each name goes to whoever claims it first. If there's a name you want, Oct 27 is the day to log in. Launch follows on Nov 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST.

The beta opens on Sept 17 for Epic Pack and Collection owners, and testers can level to 30. Search listings show the official Warcraft social accounts posting the same roadmap, but we couldn't open those posts, so we're labelling the level cap reported until Blizzard repeats it somewhere we can check.

One small mismatch: Blizzard's written post says the beta runs through Oct 21, 2026 (PST), while the roadmap slide shows Oct 22. We're keeping Blizzard's written date. Blizzard hasn't explained the difference.

Still unknown: the exact beta start time, and whether the level cap will rise before the beta ends.
